Founded in 1948, YEMA is run by a third-generation watchmakers‘ family of Morteau, most employees averaging 30 years of service and having been trained in most prestigious horology schools. Over the years, YEMA has stood the test of time by specialising in luxury and high-precision time instruments specifically built for the military, professional sportsmen and explorers.

During last 3 years YEMA has gradually transitioned into a watchmaking Manufacture after the modernisation of its workshops and after having relocated production. YEMA works now exclusively with new local partners from both sides of the border, within a 72 km radius distance from Morteau, to secure a more responsible and higher quality production, while producing in-house its new line of Manufacture Calibers.
