Essen/Frankfurt, 6 February 2026. The sustainable neo-luxury jewellery brand mandana wins the German Design Award 2026 in gold. The award went to the gender-inclusive ‘All Gens’ collection, which shows what modern luxury looks like today: conscious, high-quality, boundless.

With its striking paperclip design, movable lab-grown diamonds and a clear stance on sustainability and diversity, ‘All Gens’ represents a new understanding of jewellery. An expression of personality and values. The jury honoured the collection in the Excellent Product Design – Luxury Goods category.

‘For me, jewellery is more than an accessory. It is an expression of attitude,’ says Christine Marhofer, founder of mandana. "With All Gens, we wanted to create jewellery that connects rather than constrains and shows beauty from every perspective. For all generations and all genders. "

Characteristic of ‘All Gens’ is the paperclip design with movable octagonal settings in which Nevermined lab-grown diamonds from our own German production are set on both sides. The collection is made from recycled 18-carat gold.
